In un accostamento decisamente insolito, il Museo del Gioiello di Vicenza presenta le opere di trentatré giovani progettisti e maestri del gioiello dedicati al cibo. Il cibo non è solo la materia o l'ispirazione di questi gioielli ma è anche uno spunto di riflessione sull'evoluzione della società contemporanea e sui suoi riti. Il valore di questi gioielli non è certo nella materia che li costituisce quanto piuttosto nella struggente bellezza e nel coraggio progettuale con cui guardano avanti, prefigurando scenari innovativi. In a very unusual exhibition, the Museo del Gioiello of Vicenza presents the work of thirty-three young designers and masters of jewellery dedicated to food. Food is not only the matter or the inspiration for these jewels but also offers food for thought on the evolution of contemporary society and its rituals. The value of these jewels lies not in the materials of which they are made, but rather in the haunting beauty and boldness of the project with which they look forward, anticipating innovative scenarios.
