On the sidelines of the great exhibition at Palazzo Strozzi (Florence, 19 March 2022 - 31 July 2022) dedicated to Donatello, a guide to the works in the italian territory.
An essential tool for visitors looking for accurate and up-to-date information on Donatello’s masterpieces in Tuscany, the volume brings together - divided by places - the works preserved in the region. Edited by Francesco Caglioti with the collaboration of Gabriele Fattorini, Aldo Galli and Neville Rowley, the publication suggests an itinerary among the masterpieces preserved in Tuscany, from Florence to Torrita di Siena, through texts dedicated to each place and a rich iconographic apparatus. A guide destined to last even beyond the exhibition, with about 80 works described, to make a further immersion in the universe of the artist and to deepen the contexts in an idea of widespread exposure.
